A piece of advice from a profession

Sen. Angus King, a member of the secretive Senate intelligence committee, has warned people against hackers who might get into your cellphone system and hack out the data. He has been given some advice as to how to keep his device and his data safe which he has shared with the public. He asks to turn off the phone and the second step is to turn it back on.

This is the time of technological advancements, but still, that is what you need to do to keep your device and your data safe from hackers. Simply turning off your phone and then turning it back on can keep your device safe and forbid any unforeseen and unauthorized trespasses to get inside your mobile phones.

Keep cyber criminals at bay

The fear of cybercrime and criminals has been deeply rooted in our society at the moment. People fear that their data might get in the access of dangerous and unauthorized hackers who might use that data against the users and bring chaos to their lives.

It should be noted that simply switching your phone off and then switching it back on will not keep all the hackers and cybercriminals from stealing your important data. It cannot be said that rebooting your device from time to time will certainly keep your data safe. But this is for sure that if you turn your phone off and on, it will make the criminals and hackers take a lot more time to complete their mission of telling data from the people’s devices.

Also, it will make the job a lot harder for them, so it can be used as a safety measure that people can use to keep their data safe. Even the most advanced and trained hackers will have to work very hard for hours and hours if they try to get into your smartphone system and try to get your data.

Cyber guidelines & personal safety should be your priority

In the last year, NSA had issued some guidelines for the public to follow to ensure that their smartphone data remains safe. Those guidelines included the method of rebooting your devices on a timely basis as well. This can be done at least once every week to ensure proper safety. Some people fully trust this method and say that timely switching on and off their devices has become a part of their routine. It is of essential importance to do all that you can to keep your device safe and all the data secure.

Smartphones have become a very important part of the lives of people. It is almost like a part of their body. From important and personal pictures to confidential and sensitive messages, your phone holds it all. It is also believed that hackers can use the person’s location and gain access to the camera and a microphone. In this manner, they would see where they are and even listen to the conversations.

People always have their smartphones around them no matter where they go. Smartphones are for your comfort and security, so it is important to make sure that nobody can use them against you.
