Forest Healthcare is celebrating its latest award win after being named one of the UK’s Top 10 Medium Care Providers in the Lottie Awards 2026. Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre, part of the Forest Healthcare group, also received two further accolades as a Top 100 Care Home and a Top 10 Care Experts Choice winner.

The awards are designed to recognise care providers that demonstrate exceptional standards across areas such as the quality of care, workplace culture, and residents’ experiences, highlighting organisations that consistently deliver outstanding support for residents and their loved ones.

Celebrating Triple Award Win at Forest Healthcare

Presented annually by Lottie, one of the UK’s leading care home search platforms, the awards assess care providers and individual nursing and care homes across a range of independently verified performance measures.

Unlike awards decided by nominations, the Lottie Awards evaluate providers across multiple factors, analysing not only the standards of care but also more nuanced aspects of care quality, such as digital accessibility.

Forest Healthcare’s place among the Top 10 Medium Providers reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care across its individual centres.

Alongside this accolade, Bridgeside Lodge, based in Islington, London, won two separate distinctions, as one of the Top 100 Care Homes in the UK and also a Top 10 Care Experts Choice Award. The latter award is hand-picked by Lottie’s Care Expert panel, selecting centres that stand out for their impact, quality and warmth.

Chief Executive Officer Amanda Scott from Forest Healthcare says, ‘This Top 10 award is a fantastic achievement for everyone within Forest Healthcare, and we’re delighted to be considered one of the leading medium-sized care groups in the UK, thanks to the dedication of our amazing care colleagues and support teams.

Receiving an award is a great way for us to mark the compassion and professionalism our teams bring to our centres each day, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our commitment to creating welcoming centres where dignity, kindness and respect are the norm being recognised through an independent awards programme.’

Forest Healthcare Celebrates the Teams Behind Award-Winning Care

Forest Healthcare operates 13 specialist care centres, providing residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care, among other services, tailored to the needs of each resident, and supported by bespoke care planning adapted to the preferences and requirements of individuals and their loved ones.

While each centre may have different expertise and facilities, each shares Forest Healthcare’s focus on high-quality care that promotes independence. All centres are managed in line with the group’s five core values and mission to provide family-feel care by respecting every individual who lives or works at Forest Healthcare.

The group’s success at the Lottie Awards builds on its achievement in the 2025 inaugural awards, when it won the following:

  • Top 10 Care Experts Choice: The Cedars
  • Top 100 Care Home: Bridgeside Lodge
  • Top 100 Care Home: The Cedars
  • Top 10 Care Homes in Well-being: Bridgeside Lodge

Amanda adds that, ‘Every award highlights the work being carried out by our care, nursing and support teams, whose warmth, kindness and skills make our centres welcoming spaces where residents feel safe and seen.

We’d like to extend our thanks to the Lottie Awards panel for helping highlight the real-world impacts of quality care on people and their families, many of whom rely on independent organisations and directories to help them find reassurance that the care centres they select will offer the standards they want when organising care for a loved one.’
