Moores Orthopaedic Clinic, an independent specialist referral clinic for dogs and cats, near Basingstoke, is pleased to note that it has completed its barn extension just three years after opening. Officially opening its doors in May 2023, the clinic states that the extension will align the clinic with its vision by adding a spacious reception area and waiting area for dogs and cats, three new consulting rooms and additional kennel space.

“We are thrilled to share the news that our building work has been completed and we are now using our beautiful barn extension at the Moores Orthopaedic Clinic. When we first opened our doors three years ago it was always our plan to use this space and we are delighted to now be doing so. The barn has been developed into a spacious reception area with separate areas for dogs and cats, three new consulting rooms and some additional kennel space.”
Moores and Richard Hoile, who previously built Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists near Winchester into one of the South’s leading referral hospitals, say that the new addition was always part of the vision when the clinic opened. Over the past three years, the team has worked towards this goal, which has now been realised.
The clinic says that it takes referrals from across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, London, West Sussex, and beyond. Beyond its core surgeons (Andy Moores and Chris Jordan) are various RCVS- and EBVS-recognised specialists in orthopaedics, with the highest surgical qualifications in the UK. The clinic performs multiple core procedures, including TPLO cruciate ligament surgery, fracture repair, patellar luxation, total hip replacement and arthroscopy.
