The Monaco Yacht Show returns to Port Hercule on September 23 to 26, and DMA Yachting is inviting charter clients to join its brokers on the docks, where next summer’s French Riviera charters take shape and a shortlist of charter yachts can be walked in a single afternoon.

With the Monaco Yacht Show returning to Port Hercule on September 23 to 26, DMA Yachting, the brokerage behind South of France Luxury Charter, is inviting past clients and new ones alike to join it at the show, where the team has a stand and offers yacht walkthroughs by appointment. DMA Yachting’s founders Daniel and Martina Asmus will be joined on the docks by charter brokers Nadja Asmus and John Boullin, all four attending across the full four days, meeting clients and walking the yachts that will spend next summer on the French Riviera.
The invitation has a simple logic behind it. Most charters are chosen from photographs, months before boarding. The show compresses that into an afternoon: a client can walk a shortlist of yachts before lunch, meet the crews, and feel the difference between two boats that look similar on paper. And because the fleet that fills Monaco in September is largely the same one anchored off Saint-Tropez and Cannes in July, the show doubles as the French Riviera’s annual showroom.
Knowing where to look matters, though. Of the 113 superyachts on the official exhibitor list, only a portion are flagged as available for charter. The team’s French Riviera brand, South of France Luxury Charter, keeps a guide to the yachts to view at the Monaco Yacht Show, including Gioia, a 43-meter Codecasa, and Reliance, a 55-meter Heesen, both among the show’s charter-flagged few.
“There is nothing else like it in yachting,” said Nadja Asmus, Yacht Charter Broker at DMA Yachting. “The yachts are exceptional, and the atmosphere alone is worth the trip. An afternoon with us at the show does two things at once. You see the yachts with your own eyes, because no photo tells you how a boat really feels: the space, the light, the crew who will look after you for a week. And you sit down with your broker face to face, because the best charters come from a broker who truly understands what you want, and one conversation in person builds more of that understanding than months of emails.”
Walkthrough appointments are limited, and three to four yachts in a day is a realistic pace on the docks. The brokerage recommends booking walkthrough slots well before the show opens, as the most requested yachts fill first.
The show is also the best introduction to the coastline itself. The waters it celebrates are the same ones clients book for the summer ahead: yacht charters on the French Riviera are typically reserved months in advance for July and August, and the most requested superyachts for charter between Saint-Tropez and Monaco go first. Clients considering a 2027 charter can arrange a meeting in advance or simply stop by the DMA Yachting stand at Port Hercule during the show.
