GlobalTech Horizons Asia (GTH-Asia), a structured private capital platform focused on Southeast Asia, and 19 Degrees Resort, a hospitality and resort establishment in Kanchanaburi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 29, 2026 to formalize a strategic partnership. The partnership covers hospitality development, cross-border business collaboration, and regional market expansion. As part of the agreement, Sudarut Mingwimol, Owner of 19 Degrees Resort, has also been named Operations Lead for GTH-Thailand. Regional Director Jack Yang traveled to Thailand ahead of the signing to meet directly with Sudarut and her operating teams across two days of meetings in Kanchanaburi and Bangkok.

The MOU outlines cooperation in several areas, including hospitality operations, business development, marketing and brand positioning, and cross-border networking between the two organizations. It also opens the door to future exploration of investment and structured capital opportunities where appropriate. The agreement does not commit either party to funding or financial obligations at this stage. Kanchanaburi and Bangkok, where Sudarut Mingwimol’s properties operate, remain active growth markets within Thailand’s tourism and small business economy.
“This partnership reflects what regional strategy should look like on the ground,” said Jack Yang, Regional Director, GTH-Asia. “Sudarut has built real operational credibility across resort and hospitality management. That is the kind of partner GTH-Asia wants leading our work in Thailand. Her track record across hospitality, resort management, and market development makes her the right partner as we strengthen our presence here.”
In her new role as Operations Lead for GTH-Thailand, Sudarut will support GTH-Asia’s on-ground presence in the country. She will work alongside the Regional Director to coordinate hospitality initiatives, business development, and market expansion. Under the MOU, GTH-Asia intends to provide strategic business advisory support, facilitate introductions to potential partners and stakeholders, and share regional market insight. In return, 19 Degrees Resort will serve as GTH-Asia’s strategic hospitality partner in Thailand, supporting joint initiatives and maintaining professional standards across the partnership.
Sudarut leads a growing group of hospitality and lifestyle brands across Kanchanaburi and Bangkok. 19 Degrees Resort Kanchanaburi is a boutique riverside destination in Sai Yok. It offers private villas and accommodations for couples, families, groups of friends, and corporate retreats, along with a private riverside beach on the River Kwai and a mini zoo home to Silkie chickens, rabbits, and pygmy goats. Located within the resort, Hideaway Dome Cafe and Restaurant serves premium coffee, specialty matcha, and homemade desserts in a scenic natural setting. In Bangkok, AM/PM Social House operates as a modern cafe and bistro, offering specialty coffee and dining from morning through night. Sudarut Mingwimol’s group also includes Boat Noodle Wagyu and Australian Wagyu Flame-Grilled Thai Basil, which specializes in premium Wagyu boat noodles and Australian Wagyu stir-fried Thai basil, and Madam Durian, a premium fruit brand offering carefully selected durians and seasonal fruit.
With the partnership now in place, 19 Degrees Resort is positioned to explore a phased expansion of its guest capacity and on-site experiences. Areas under consideration include additional villa units, expanded seating and event capacity at Hideaway Dome Cafe and Restaurant for functions such as weddings and corporate offsites, and broader wellness and nature-based programming built around the resort’s riverside setting. Future expansion initiatives will be explored as opportunities arise, with implementation guided by demand, market conditions, and business priorities.
The Kanchanaburi partnership also extends beyond GTH-Asia’s own operations. JYSigma Business Consultancy (JBC) will open its first Entrepreneurship Centre in Thailand in Kanchanaburi, built on the same on-ground relationships formed through the GTH-Asia and 19 Degrees Resort partnership. The centre is expected to provide business advisory and market entry support for entrepreneurs and small business owners in the province.
Supporting details of the partnership include:
- Sudarut’s portfolio spans five distinct hospitality and dining brands across two of Thailand’s key markets, Kanchanaburi and Bangkok
- As Operations Lead, Sudarut will serve as GTH-Asia’s main point of coordination for GTH-Thailand activities
- JBC’s first Entrepreneurship Centre in Thailand will be based in Kanchanaburi, the same province where 19 Degrees Resort operates
- The MOU is non-exclusive. Both parties remain free to pursue similar arrangements with other organizations
- The agreement runs for an initial term of three years from the date of signing, with provisions for confidentiality and renewal by mutual written agreement
“A partnership like this only works when both sides bring something real to the table,” Sudarut said. “I am looking forward to what we can build together across Kanchanaburi and Bangkok, and to helping shape GTH-Asia’s presence here in Thailand.”
GTH-Asia describes the agreement as part of its broader approach to connecting structured capital thinking with experienced local operators across ASEAN’s hospitality and SME sectors. The firm formalizes these partnerships through direct, in-market relationships rather than remote deal-making.
“This is a new beginning for our work in Thailand,” Jack added. “Strong local partners are what make regional strategy real on the ground.”
