DECO Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (“DECO”), a developer of ultra-short-range millimeter-wave (mmWave) connectivity chips, is showcasing its wireless connectivity modules at the 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF), taking place October 12–16 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The exhibit features contactless data interconnect solutions for stationary and rotating applications, offering additional options for interconnect design and mechanical integration in industrial automation and robotics.

CIIF 2026 focuses on digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development, with 10 specialized shows including the Industrial Automation Show, Robotics Show and IC Ecosystem Show. As industrial equipment becomes increasingly integrated, designers must balance data throughput, installation space and maintenance requirements when using conventional cabling and contact-based slip rings. DECO addresses these challenges with modules that incorporate ultra-short-range mmWave transmission technology into equipment designs, helping developers accommodate space constraints and reduce reliance on wear-prone data contacts.

The exhibit includes contactless mmWave interconnect modules for a range of industrial data transmission needs. The SDKT570ES Ethernet wireless connectivity module features a standard RJ45 interface, providing a modular option for data links within equipment and between adjacent modules. For rotary applications, the SDKT10 series wireless slip ring modules are built on DECO’s DKT10 series mmWave wireless rotary transceiver chips. They provide contactless data links between stationary and rotating components, with support for continuous 360-degree rotation depending on the module and system configuration. These links carry control commands, status feedback and sensor data, reducing reliance on mechanical data contacts in applications such as robot joints.

In stationary applications, mmWave links transmit data across physical gaps between circuit boards or adjacent modules, reducing the need for data cables and contact-based connectors while providing greater flexibility in equipment layout and module integration. In rotating applications, the solutions support communication across rotary interfaces in robot joints, end effectors, rotating vision systems, LiDAR and gimbals. By reducing dependence on mechanical data contacts and signal wiring across these interfaces, they help reduce communication-related maintenance associated with contact wear. Each implementation requires adaptation to its interface requirements, installation conditions and power-supply arrangement.

From chips to modules, DECO develops mmWave connectivity solutions designed to simplify wiring, improve mechanical integration and reduce connection-related maintenance requirements. Alongside engaging with industrial customers at CIIF, the company is seeking international sales channel partners. Sales representatives and distributors with relevant industry experience and local market access are invited to explore opportunities to expand the adoption of DECO’s mmWave wireless connectivity products in overseas markets.
