Salesforce Introduces New AI and Data Innovations to Address Trust Issues in ASEAN

SingaporeSalesforce, a global leader in CRM solutions, has unveiled a series of AI-driven tools and data solutions aimed at enhancing AI adoption and building trust among enterprises throughout Singapore and the ASEAN region. The announcement includes the general availability of several innovative tools, such as Einstein Copilot, Tableau Pulse, and Slack AI, alongside the beta release of Einstein Copilot for Tableau.

Recent findings from Salesforce’s AI Trust Quotient reveal a significant trust gap in AI technology within the region. An overwhelming 95% of Singaporean workers who distrust AI are hesitant to use it, mainly due to concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the underlying data. In response, Salesforce has developed a suite of trusted AI and data solutions designed to establish a dependable foundation for AI applications, thereby encouraging broader adoption and utilization.

Salesforce’s latest offerings aim to instill confidence and boost productivity through trusted AI technologies. Here’s a look at the key features of these innovations:

  • Einstein Copilot: Now available across Singapore and ASEAN, this AI-driven CRM assistant enhances sales operations and promotes the adoption of generative AI. Its new feature, Copilot Analytics, allows administrators to monitor and optimize AI usage, facilitating its scaled and efficient deployment.
  • Zero Copy Partner Network: This newly launched network supports secure, bidirectional, zero-copy integrations with the Salesforce Data Cloud. It includes high-profile technology partners such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Google Cloud, and Snowflake, ensuring robust and secure data integrations that enhance governance across platforms.

Gavin Barfield, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Solutions at Salesforce ASEAN, emphasized the importance of these developments. “AI tools must draw on contextual and relevant company data and metadata to ensure useful and trusted outcomes. To become an AI enterprise, ASEAN businesses need to unlock their trapped data and build a strong and trusted data foundation,” Barfield stated. “As the trusted enterprise AI advisor to ASEAN businesses, we deliver trusted AI and data innovations to unlock data and allow workers to harness generative AI in the flow of work to accelerate productivity and personalized customer experiences at scale.”

The expanded partner ecosystem, powered by new data capabilities, now includes a broader range of technology and solution providers. These partners are integral to the Zero Copy Partner Network, which brings valuable new data sets to the Salesforce Data Cloud. Additionally, the network includes Salesforce ISV partners who are building Zero Copy Data Kits, and Salesforce SI partners such as Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte Digital, and PwC, who assist customers in configuring and optimizing zero-copy Data Cloud implementations.

Salesforce’s AI innovations extend beyond CRM to other platforms such as Tableau and Slack:

  • Einstein Copilot for Tableau: Currently in beta, this tool provides a conversational, natural language-driven analytics experience, simplifying data analysis for users across various data sources.
  • Tableau Pulse and Slack AI: Both tools are now generally available and improve decision-making and operational efficiency by providing insights in user-friendly formats and enhancing collaborative experiences through advanced AI capabilities.

These initiatives by Salesforce are strategically aimed at closing the AI trust gap and empowering ASEAN enterprises to leverage AI effectively. This not only enhances productivity but also improves customer experiences through trusted, secure technological solutions.

  • Einstein Copilot: AI-driven CRM assistant with advanced capabilities.
  • Tableau Pulse: Enhances decision-making with user-friendly data insights.
  • Slack AI: Improves operational efficiency and collaboration.
  • Einstein Copilot for Tableau: Beta version offering conversational analytics.

The introduction of these tools represents a significant step forward in addressing the prevalent scepticism towards AI among workers in the region and establishing a more robust, trust-based framework for technology adoption. With these advancements, Salesforce continues to lead the way in providing innovative solutions that not only meet the current needs of the business community but also anticipate future challenges and opportunities in the evolving digital landscape.
