When a fire tore through her home in Yale, Michigan, Sherri Converse and her children lost everything, including their beloved pets. She had no insurance. She reached out everywhere she could for help, and no one could. Then, in her words, “I asked God for help. I opened Google, and the next thing I knew was Mason Steel Buildings.”
She got the president of the company on the phone. Instead of a sales pitch, Eddy Aoude made her a promise she says she will never forget: Mason Steel Buildings would donate a new home and all of the building materials to rebuild her family’s life.
Mason Steel Buildings is a factory-direct steel building manufacturer serving all 50 states from 20 factory and distribution hubs nationwide. Aoude and Director of Operations Zaynab Kadri are personally overseeing the project. A community fundraiser at https://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuilding-hope-for-sherri-her-daughters-after-the-fire is covering what the donation cannot: the concrete foundation, construction labor, and interior build-out. The company is asking the public to donate and share Sherri’s story so her kids have a place to call home again.
