Peacock has raised prices across all three of its subscription tiers, with its ad-supported Select plan increasing from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. Premium now costs $12.99 per month, up from $10.99, while Premium Plus has increased from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.
The new prices took effect on August 18 for new and returning subscribers. Existing subscribers will begin paying the higher rates on their first billing date on or after September 17.
Annual prices are also increasing. Select now costs $89.99 per year, Premium costs $129.99, and Premium Plus costs $199.99, compared with previous prices of $79.99, $109.99, and $169.99, respectively.
Existing Promotions Will Keep Their Current Rates
Peacock said on its price increase support page that existing annual subscribers and customers with active promotional offers will keep their current pricing until those plans or promotions expire. They will then renew at the new rates.
The company said the increases will help it continue developing its service, remain competitive, and provide content across multiple genres. This is Peacock’s fourth price increase in four years, following another increase in July 2025.
Peacock Has Added More AI and Interactive Features
Peacock has introduced several new features in recent months, including an AI-powered Bravoverse vertical-video feed featuring clips from shows such as The Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules. It is also developing a vertical live-sports viewing feature that uses real-time AI cropping for mobile screens.
The streaming service recently added two mystery games, Law & Order: Clue Hunter and Public Eye, developed by AI gaming startup Wolf Games. It has also expanded interactive sports features around events including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
NBCUniversal announced in July that Peacock Premium will also be offered to YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. beginning in early 2027.
Peacock Reached 48 Million Subscribers
Peacock reported its first profitable quarter last month as its subscriber base reached 48 million. Growth was supported by programming including the NBA playoffs, FIFA World Cup, and Love Island.
The latest increase brings Premium Plus close to $20 per month while keeping Premium as Peacock’s main ad-supported tier. Peacock’s current plan pages now list Premium at $12.99 per month and Premium Plus at $19.99 per month.
