Offshore Sportsbooks Offer Betting on Little League World Series Games

Offshore sportsbooks are offering betting markets on the Little League Baseball World Series, an international tournament featuring players who are generally 10 to 12 years old. U.S.-regulated sportsbooks and federally regulated prediction markets do not currently allow wagers on the tournament.

Platforms including Kalshi and Polymarket do not offer Little League World Series betting, according to Closing Line. Polymarket previously offered markets tied to the tournament in 2024.

Offshore operators are subject to different regulatory requirements and can offer markets that are unavailable through regulated U.S. sportsbooks. BetOnline Sports & Casino is among the operators taking bets on the 2026 tournament.

BetOnline Says Demand for Little League Betting Is Growing

BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason said the company continues offering Little League World Series odds because customers request them. He said bettors wagered twice as much on the tournament in 2025 as they did in 2024.

Mason also said BetOnline expects to take more wagers on the Little League Baseball World Series over its two-week run than on some established sports markets, including the WNBA, Major League Soccer, professional tennis, and golf.

In a separate post on X, Mason claimed that more BetOnline customers were wagering on a Little League game between South Korea and Canada than on certain Major League Baseball games.

The comparisons provide an indication of betting activity on BetOnline but do not represent industry-wide wagering volumes.

Little League Opposes Betting on Its Games

Little League International has publicly opposed gambling on games involving its young players. The organization reposted a statement on Wednesday that it had originally issued in 2025 addressing sports betting on Little League events.

Little League said children participate in its programs to learn the fundamentals of baseball while developing teamwork, integrity, and other skills. It said the successes and failures of children playing the game should not be used by others for personal financial gain.

Little League’s own marketing guidelines also restrict gambling-related advertising and depictions connected with its trademarks and events.

The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series runs from August 19 through August 30 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The tournament brings together teams from the U.S. and other countries and is broadcast nationally.
