One early assignment remains particularly memorable. Enciso accepted a job deep-cleaning a customer’s stove for $30. After accounting for the time, travel expenses, and cleaning supplies, he realized the work had produced almost no profit. “I went from borrowing money to pay my mortgage and cleaning a stove for $30 to building a company serving more than 180 properties. None of it happened overnight, and none of it happened without sacrifice,” Enciso said.
