Screen Charm, a recording application for macOS used by product teams, content creators, and educators, today announced the launch of cloud sharing. Users can now upload a finished recording and generate a shareable link in one click. Recipients watch, copy, or download the video directly in their browser without creating an account or installing software.
Screen recording tools have traditionally separated two workflows: producing a polished video and getting it in front of someone. Screen Charm now handles both in a single application.
“We built Screen Charm to make screen recordings look professional without a video editor,” said Sergey Nazarov, founder of Screen Charm. “Users shouldn’t have to spend twenty minutes figuring out how to get a video in front of someone after recording it. Cloud sharing was the natural next step.”
The cloud sharing announcement comes amid a period of rapid development for the company, which has maintained a pace of roughly one feature update per week. Recent improvements include background noise removal, automatic volume normalization, and variable playback speed.
The company says cloud sharing is the first step toward a broader collaboration layer planned for later this year. Screen Charm is available as a free download with full access to recording and editing features.
