Peacock Premium Is Coming to YouTube Premium in 2027

NBCUniversal and YouTube have signed a multi-year global partnership that will make Peacock Premium available to eligible YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States from early 2027. The agreement gives YouTube subscribers access to Peacock’s ad-supported streaming plan within the YouTube platform.

The content lineup includes live NFL and NBA coverage, movies, Peacock originals and series such as Saturday Night Live, Love Island USA and Law & Order: SVU. NBCUniversal said the deal represents Peacock’s largest wholesale distribution partnership to date.

Peacock Content Will Be Integrated Into YouTube

Subscribers will be able to discover and watch Peacock programming through YouTube rather than moving between separate streaming apps. The Peacock access will sit alongside existing YouTube Premium benefits, including ad-free YouTube videos, background playback, downloads and YouTube Music.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms or explain whether the bundle will affect the price of YouTube Premium. YouTube said Peacock Premium will be available to eligible subscribers, suggesting that specific account, billing or regional requirements may apply.

Peacock Premium normally costs $10.99 per month and includes advertising. Its Premium Plus plan costs $16.99 per month and removes ads from most on-demand programming, although some live events and channels still contain commercials.

Primetime Channels Adds More Peacock Options

Peacock Premium Plus has been available as a standalone subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels since June 29. Peacock Premium will also become available separately through Primetime Channels later in 2026, giving users another way to subscribe without joining the YouTube Premium bundle.

The broader agreement extends NBCUniversal’s distribution on YouTube TV and includes cooperation across advertising, technology and sports production. NBCUniversal’s international streaming services Universal+ and Hayu will also become available through YouTube Premium in selected markets.

Deal Follows Peacock’s First Quarterly Profit

The partnership comes after Peacock reported its first quarterly profit since launching in 2020. The service recorded $189 million in adjusted earnings during the second quarter of 2026 as revenue rose 54% to $1.9 billion.

Peacock added two million paid subscribers during the quarter, bringing its total to 48 million. NBCUniversal is using partnerships with platforms including YouTube, Amazon and Apple to place the service in front of audiences who already manage entertainment subscriptions elsewhere.
