Bento MDM Adds Identity-Based Access Controls Through Okta and Microsoft Entra ID Integrations

2B Intelligent Soft S.A. (BVB: BENTO) today announced that Bento MDM integrates with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure AD, allowing organizations to apply identity-based access controls to the devices they manage. Through Okta Device Trust and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access, access to corporate resources can be granted only to devices that meet the organization’s compliance requirements.

Bento MDM is an enterprise unified device and endpoint management platform that enables organizations to manage, secure, monitor, and automate devices across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and IoT from a single centralized console. The integrations connect the device compliance state held in Bento MDM to identity and access policies in Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.

A device that falls out of compliance can be blocked from corporate resources until it returns to a compliant state. This supports a Zero Trust approach in which access depends on both user identity and device posture. Administrators manage device compliance and role-based access control (RBAC) from the Bento MDM console, while Okta and Microsoft Entra ID policies use the resulting device posture when making access decisions.

Designed for IT and security teams managing distributed and mixed-device environments, the integrations help organizations apply consistent access requirements across corporate applications while evaluating both user identity and device compliance.

“Identity and device management have often been handled as separate problems,” said Radu Scarlat, Chairman and CEO of Bento. “Connecting Bento MDM to Okta and Microsoft Entra ID lets organizations make access decisions based on device compliance as well as user identity, which is the practical basis of a Zero Trust model.”

The integrations are available now and included for all Bento MDM customers. Bento MDM is available as both a cloud (SaaS) and an on-premises deployment, allowing organizations to choose the model that fits their data residency and security requirements.
