Mesh, the personal relationship manager acquired by Automattic last year, is now available on Android phones, tablets, and foldables. The app lets users organize personal and professional contacts, add notes, set reminders to reconnect, and privately map relationships across their network.
Mesh customized the Android version for features including split-screen and pop-up views, allowing users to keep the app open alongside email or messaging tools. It also supports keyboard shortcuts, in-app search, home screen widgets with Material You theming, and real-time synchronization across devices.
The company confirmed the rollout through its Google Play listing, where Mesh is available as a free download with optional in-app purchases.
Mesh Is Building More AI Into Relationship Management
Mesh is also testing Nexus AI, which lets users search their network using natural-language questions. For example, users can ask who they know at a particular company, who lives in a certain city, or who has experience in a specific field.
The company is experimenting with additional AI features, including voice-based interaction and improved business card scanning. Mesh co-founder Zachary Hamed said the aim is to help people manage increasingly large networks spread across social media, work products, and other services.
Mesh says personal information stored in the service is not used for advertising or shared for ad targeting. The product is supported by subscriptions, with a free tier covering up to 1,000 contacts and paid plans offering unlimited contacts and additional features through its pricing plans.
Closer Beeper Integration Could Follow
Mesh already has some integration with Beeper, Automattic’s messaging app that brings services including WhatsApp, Instagram, Signal, Messenger, X, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, and Google Messages into one interface.
Users can draft messages through Beeper from Mesh and follow links from Beeper into Mesh contact profiles. The company has discussed adding deeper AI-powered connections between the two products, although it has not announced a bundled subscription.
Automattic acquired Mesh, then known as Clay in 2025 as part of its efforts to add a stronger identity and relationship layer across its products. Around 70% of Mesh customers currently use the service for some form of business purpose.
Co-founder Matthew Achariam said executives managing larger teams and people maintaining smaller, high-value professional networks remain a strong user group. Mesh is still designing features for both business and personal use, with the company treating those use cases as closely related.
