Enterprise AI startup June has emerged from stealth with $20 million in pre-seed funding to help large companies deploy AI agents across complex software systems. The round was led by Marc Benioff’s Time Ventures, with participation from Michael Dell, Diane Greene, Aaron Levie, George Kurtz and several venture firms.
June is targeting the implementation work often handled by forward-deployed engineers, consultants and systems integrators. These specialists enter companies to connect AI tools with existing databases, workflows and software platforms.
Former Salesforce Team Reunites for June
The company was founded in late 2025 by chief executive Efrat Rapoport, chief technology officer Idan Tsitiat, president Barak Goldstein and chief architect Ohad Hen. The four previously founded Bonobo AI, a conversational intelligence company acquired by Salesforce in 2019.
The team spent about five years at Salesforce after the acquisition, working on AI products and observing how companies struggled to integrate new technology into existing operations. Rapoport later served as vice-president of product management and head of Salesforce Israel’s research and development centre.
June announced its funding and public launch through an official post. The company did not disclose its valuation or prepare a formal presentation deck for the fundraising process, according to TechCrunch.
Platform Maps Existing Systems Before Building Agents
Large companies commonly operate software from Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Databricks and other providers. Their data may be divided across platforms, while years of technical changes can leave duplicated fields, conflicting processes and outdated integrations.
June scans these systems to identify how business processes operate and where bottlenecks exist. It then produces a step-by-step implementation plan that may instruct teams to remove duplicated data, connect additional sources or change existing workflows.
Users can approve individual tasks before June builds, tests and deploys the required changes. The platform also provides audit records, sandbox testing and human approval controls intended to help companies manage deployment risks.
CMG Tests June With Salesforce Agents
CMG chief strategy officer Paul Akinmade said his team encountered difficulties while connecting Claude Code with Salesforce. The US mortgage lender had planned to deploy 100 agents but spent weeks consulting architects and forward-deployed engineers without making sufficient progress.
Akinmade said June identified where agents could be deployed and allowed CMG to begin implementing them safely before the companies held their formal kickoff call. He had previously told June that he did not want a product requiring specialist engineers or operating as a system that only selected experts could understand.
Rapoport said June is intended to support forward-deployed engineers and implementation teams rather than focus solely on creating agent templates. Its platform addresses the legacy software, fragmented data and technical debt that companies must manage before AI agents can operate within established business processes.
