Netflix announced plans to open two “Netflix House” entertainment complexes in 2025, located in Dallas, Texas, and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
The announcement was made on Netflix’s official Tudum blog, which also featured an artist’s rendering of one of the planned locations.
These complexes are designed to provide a novel experience for fans, combining dining, live events, and interactive sets that immerse visitors in the worlds of some of Netflix’s most beloved series and films.
Engage with Iconic Netflix Shows
The concept of Netflix House marks Netflix’s pioneering venture into brick-and-mortar establishments. The venues in Dallas and King of Prussia will offer fans the opportunity to interact with elements from hit shows like “Bridgerton,” “Money Heist,” “Stranger Things,” and “Squid Game.”
According to the announcement, visitors can expect to engage in a variety of themed activities. For instance, fans of “Bridgerton” can waltz to an orchestral cover of a Taylor Swift song on a replicated set from the series. Similarly, enthusiasts of “Squid Game” can attempt the Glass Bridge challenge, a notorious game from the series, in a presumably safe environment.
Themed Merchandise at Netflix House
Moreover, the experience extends to themed merchandise available for purchase. The entertainment venues will feature a strategically placed gift shop through which all visitors must pass. This shop will offer exclusive items such as:
- Hellfire Club T-shirts from “Stranger Things,”
- The Queen’s Gambit board games, and
- Novelty coffee mugs emblazoned with “I survived a rich guy’s game of death” from “Squid Game.”
Additionally, guests may find discounts on select items like the “Too Hot to Handle” oven mitt in the clearance bin.
The introduction of Netflix House is aimed at creating a high-concept entertainment experience that not only allows fans to step into the settings of their favorite shows but also brings a new dimension to the streaming service’s engagement with its audience.
