The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is currently discounted, making it a notable option in the laptop market.

Samsung’s Galaxy Book4 Edge is one of the first Copilot+ PCs running on the Snapdragon X Elite processor. This laptop comes with higher specs than many of its rivals. While it usually has a higher price, a recent discount makes it more affordable.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge is now $350 cheaper, bringing its price in line with other high-performance laptops like the Surface Laptop 7. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch models are on sale, giving buyers a choice between two versions of the Snapdragon X Elite processor.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880×1800, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The display covers 120% DCI-P3 color and can reach up to 500 nits of brightness with HDR enabled.

The laptop uses the Snapdragon X Elite processor, with options including the 12-core X1E-84-100 variant. This version offers the best performance but also increases the cost of the laptop.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge has a slim design and includes two USB4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has quad speakers and supports Dolby Atmos for a better audio experience.

Samsung offers a trade-in program that can save customers up to an additional $540. For those buying through Best Buy, a Best Buy Plus membership might provide extra perks.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge competes with the MacBook Pro (M3) and the Surface Laptop 7. With the current $350 discount, the Galaxy Book4 Edge matches its competitors in price and exceeds them in specifications.

Pros:

  • High-resolution AMOLED display with 120Hz variable refresh rate
  • Advanced Snapdragon X Elite processor options
  • Comprehensive port selection
  • Thin and lightweight design
  • Significant discount available

Cons:

  • Higher cost for the premium Snapdragon X Elite variant
  • Confusing naming convention for the Snapdragon X Elite processor

The Galaxy Book4 Edge has earned top marks among Copilot+ PCs and is seen as a strong alternative to the MacBook Pro in this category. Its combination of display quality, processor options, and connectivity makes it a notable choice.
