Facebook Launches Stand-Alone Creator Studio App With Built-In AI Assistant

Facebook is rolling out a stand-alone Creator Studio app for iOS that gives creators AI-powered recommendations, performance insights, and tools for managing audience engagement. The launch follows testing with selected creators and is initially available to creators in the United States and Canada.

The app includes Facebook’s Creator Assistant, which provides personalized guidance based on a creator’s content style, performance, audience engagement, and goals. Meta first introduced the assistant in June as a tool for turning creator analytics into more direct recommendations.

Instead of reviewing multiple charts and dashboards, creators can ask questions such as when they should post or what audiences are saying in comments. The assistant can also respond to follow-up questions using information from the creator’s Facebook activity.

AI Tools Help Manage Comments and Daily Tasks

Creator Studio includes an AI-powered comment feature that identifies comments requiring attention and drafts replies in the creator’s usual tone. Creators can edit or approve those suggestions before they are published.

The app also presents a daily priorities feed when creators open it. Tasks can include reviewing the performance of a recent post, checking progress toward goals, and responding to comments that may require attention.

Meta has positioned these tools as a way to help creators decide what to do next rather than requiring them to interpret performance data independently. Its earlier Creator Assistant announcement described the system as a personalized assistant that becomes more useful as it learns a creator’s goals.

Meta Expands Its Creator Tools

Facebook confirmed in July that Creator Studio would return as a redesigned stand-alone app. Meta said the new version would focus on showing creators the next actions they can take to improve their performance on Facebook.

The Creator Studio app is now listed on Apple’s App Store for iPhone users. The rollout gives Meta another dedicated creator product as it competes with platforms including TikTok and YouTube for video creators and their audiences.

Meta has also been expanding other creator programs this year. In March, it introduced Creator Fast Track, which provides eligible creators with guaranteed payments and additional distribution support as they establish audiences on Facebook.

The company has separately adjusted its recommendation systems to give original creator content more visibility. Meta said views and watch time for original Facebook Reels approximately doubled during the second half of 2025 compared with the same period a year earlier.
